Mavericks Room
The indoor Mavericks banquet room is perfect for intimate, semi-private parties. The corner room is surrounded by windows that point out to the infamous Mavericks surfing waves just beyond Pillar Point Harbor. The semi-private room also provides a prime spot for enjoying Sam’s beautiful sunsets.
The Mavericks Room seats up to 20 people or can accommodate up to 16 people for a standing reception.
Harbor View Room
With a sweeping view of the Pacific Ocean and Pillar Point Harbor, the Harbor View banquet room provides stunning views and amazing sunsets.
The Harbor View room offers you the best of both worlds with inside seating and beautiful views of the Pacific ocean for your guests to enjoy, while indulging in scrumptious seafood. The Harbor View banquet room also provides direct access to our North Patio (booked separately), so your guests can sip cocktails on the patio before sitting down to enjoy their meal.
The Harbor View room seats up to 54 people or can accommodate up to 75 people for a standing reception.
Ocean Terrace
With breathtaking northern ocean views, the Ocean Terrace directly overlooks the Pacific Ocean. Delivering the best of both worlds, this “indoor-outdoor” banquet room comes complete with cozy heat lamps, an overhead roof, and large sliding doors, to keep your guests warm while they enjoy the feel of the outdoors and fresh scent of the ocean.
Directly outside the Terrace is a patio space that overlooks the Pacific Ocean, perfect for sipping cocktails while enjoying glorious sunsets. (NOTE: Outdoor spaces booked separately, not included in Ocean Terrace rental). The Terrace can be used in conjunction with the outdoor patio space (booked separately) for a great Reception/Dinner combination.
The Ocean Terrace seats up to 35 people or can accommodate up to 75 people for a standing reception.
Beachfront Lawn
Sam’s Beachfront Lawn is a grassy outdoor area directly below the restaurant, facing the ocean, and just steps away from having your toes in the sand. The Beachfront Lawn is accessible from a wooden stairway that leads down to the property below Sam’s. A wonderful banquet location for an outdoor beach front party or team-building event, this space is also great to enjoy Sam’s authentic Lobster Clambake.
The Beachfront Lawn seats up to 100 people or can accommodate up to 120 people for a standing reception.
North Patio
The North Patio directly overlooks the ocean with a view of the harbor and is a great location for an outdoor lunch or dinner. The patio can be optionally tented for more weather protection, and is a great location for a business meal, bridal shower, family dinner, or other special events.
The North Patio seats up to 40 people or can accommodate up to 55 people for a standing reception. The Middle West Patio area can optionally be added to seat an additional 20 people.
South Beach Bar
Sam’s South Beach Bar provides a fun and festive banquet area for a party of any kind. This “Beach Surfer Shack” has become a favorite party spot as it is equipped with ocean view counter tops, patio seating, and overhead heaters. The outdoor bar area is a great venue to enjoy a live band and music for your special event. Extensive patio seating makes it the perfect location to experience Sam’s authentic Lobster Clambake.
The South Beach Bar seats up to 60 people or can accommodate up to 80 people for a standing reception.
